The Bible is often called a “blueprint for living,” but in a constantly shifting world, knowing how to think through issues biblically can be enormously difficult. If you’ve ever thought to yourself:

“My faith should be more than pat answers or tidy conclusions”

“The Bible doesn’t directly speak to “X“, so how do I deal with this?”

“That passage/story from Scripture is weird. What do I do with that?”

Then you’re in the right place.

My name is Josh Headrick. I’ve been a disciple of Jesus Christ for over 18 years, and while our world and our lives are often messy and confusing, I believe that Scripture is clear and trustworthy.

My hope for this blog is to help ordinary Christians like me apply the gospel of Jesus Christ to all life by thinking carefully and biblically about a range of topics.

Josh lives in Louisville, KY with his wife Christine and dog Cash. He is currently enrolled at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he is working towards his M.Div.
